Challenge

A network of fitness studios and private trainers (Active Sport LLC) faced administrator overload at the front desk and lost clients due to the lack of a unified booking system. Appointments were managed manually via messengers and phone calls, causing schedule overlaps, long response times, and up to 25% lost bookings during peak hours. The goal was to develop a fast, fault-tolerant web platform "FitBook" featuring user accounts, a studio catalog, a real-time slot calendar, and online payment integration.

Solution

We developed a turnkey web platform using a modern stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and PostgreSQL + Redis for instant slot locking during payment. Implemented a mobile-first responsive interface with search and filtering by geolocation, sports categories, and time. Built secure personal accounts for three user roles: clients, partner studios, and administrators. Integrated acquiring for online payments and subscription purchases, alongside automated notifications and workout reminders. Optimized architecture to ensure high performance under heavy traffic loads.
